Billy is a small mechanical enemy designed to annoy the player… a lot 😈
He shoots fireballs at anything that enters his line of sight and keeps pressure from a distance.
On his own, Billy is easy to defeat.
In groups? Things get messy very fast.
This animation shows both the cinematic presentation and in-game behavior of Billy, a character from the video game Sugar Glider, currently in development at Atoon Lab.

Billy was designed to be easy to read and instantly recognizable in-game.
His simple shape, expressive eyes, and clear silhouette quickly communicate his role and behavior.
Concept art by Codito Western, Creative Director and co-founder of Atoon Lab.
The animation was fully created in Blender, covering all stages of production, including modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, VFX simulation, and rendering. Post-production was handled separately using After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
